Taylor Fontenot , PT, DPT
Taylor is a graduate with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas. His undergraduate degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology is from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He worked in private practice in Austin, TX before returning to Lafayette to join the team at BPTWI. He is certified in trigger point dry needling and completed an orthopedic residency program for further education and skill in trending orthopedic conditions. He began practicing as a physical therapist in 2016, treating a variety of conditions with patients from diverse backgrounds. His area of specialty is treating knees, ankles, shoulders and TMJ.
He chose the field of physical therapy because he feels he can change and improve their lives. He says, “It’s a great feeling to treat someone with your guidance and hands on treatment and see them heal and return to pain free living.”
He is married to his wife, Morgan, who is a nurse at a local surgery specialty hospital. He enjoys hunting, camping, hiking, mountain biking and traveling. He is a huge fan of LSU, ULL and Saints football.
